Seahawks: Dwayne Bowe is recovering from torn ACL, is likely to miss 6-8 weeks

A reporter at Sports Illustrated has tweeted that the Seattle Seahawks’ star defensive end, Dwayne “The Rock” Bowe, is recovering for the first time in weeks after tearing his ACL and MCL.

The Seattle Times reports that Bowe had surgery on Monday.

Bowe tore his ACL in a tackle-breaking incident on Sunday night and was replaced by the injured Dwight Freeney, who was replaced later that day by Chris Clemons.

The Seahawks are expected to start Clemons at nose tackle on Monday against the Indianapolis Colts.
