Feds are investigating fake ads on the Obamacare website that were allegedly made by an Ohio firm, according to a new report.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office said in a statement Friday that it is conducting a criminal investigation into the allegations, which were discovered by the company, Advertising Strategies.
The company is based in Columbus, Ohio.
The Attorney General said the Ohio State Fair and the Ohio Commission on Public Records have opened criminal investigations into the claims.
Advertising Strategies said in its statement that it has cooperated fully with the Attorney General and the investigation.
It said the investigation is ongoing and the company will provide additional information as it becomes available.
